This is not just the launch of a magazine-it is the beginning of a voice.

Mannthology emerges with a clear and unwavering mission: to tell the story of the Sikh Nation its origins, its struggle, its resilience, and its remarkable journey across the globe. From its birth to its widespread presence across continents, this is the story of a nation that, despite enduring genocide and displacement, refused to disappear. Instead, it rebuilt, redefined, and reasserted its identity with dignity and faith.

The name Mannthology itself carries deep meaning. Derived from the word “Mann”, symbolizing the mind, spirit, and inner consciousness, and “anthology”, a collection of stories and voices, Mannthology represents a gathering of thoughts, truths, and lived experiences. It is not just a publication, but a reflection of the collective Sikh consciousnessa space where history, identity, and perspective come together to form a living narrative of a people who continue to endure and evolve.

The Sikh Nation stands as a powerful example of a nation without a state, yet never without a soul. After facing immense persecution, it has risen globally recreating its identity not through borders, but through spirit, values, and collective memory. From the battlefields of World Wars stretching from East to West and North to South to modern humanitarian crises, Sikhs have contributed selflessly, not only for their own liberation but for the betterment of humanity.

Seva selfless service remains the heartbeat of this nation. Whether in times of war, natural disasters, or medical emergencies, Sikhs have consistently stepped forward to serve, without discrimination, without expectation. This is the identity we carry, and this is the story we must tell.

Yet today, the Sikh Nation faces new challenges. There are growing concerns of global targeting, transnational repression, and acts that attempt to silence voices advocating for justice and self-determination. Despite this, the Sikh spirit remains unbroken. It continues to fight with dignity, with faith, and with an unshakable belief in truth.

Mannthology is our platform our space to speak, to document, and to inspire. It is a platform for our youth, giving them the opportunity to express their vision for the future: how they wish to engage with the global landscape while preserving their identity, their freedom, and their values. We believe that the strength of a nation lies in the voices of its people, especially its next generation.

We also extend a call to all those who believe in a free world and in independent journalism stand with us. Support this mission. Help us ensure that truth is not silenced, that stories are not erased, and that voices are not lost.

I dedicate this inaugural edition to Shaheed Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who chose death over the subjugation of the Sikh Nation, becoming a symbol of sacrifice on Canadian soil. I also dedicate it to the late S. Sukhminder Singh Hansra, whose fearless contributions to Sikh media and the movement for freedom have left a lasting legacy. His encouragement and belief have been a personal source of strength and inspiration for me.

I express my deep respect and gratitude to Dr. Amarjit Singh, a guiding force in my journey. He has taught me how to stand firm, how to contribute meaningfully, and how to walk the path of the Panth with commitment and clarity. His life is a testament to selfless dedication to the Sikh Nation and its future generations.

Finally, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the writing team of Mannthology. Without your passion and commitment, this project would not have been possible. Your continued support will ensure that we remain steadfast in our mission.

In Mannthology, we will address every issue that impacts Sikhs globally. We will question, explore, and document. We will remember, and we will envision.

This is not just a beginning.
This is the beginning of a new beginning.
