OUR MISSION

At Mannthology, our mission is to reshape how people see Sikh-Canadians. Too often they’re reduced to a story of immigration. We exist to remind Canada and the world that Sikh-Canadians are not just newcomers but nation builders who proudly call this land home.

A Legacy of
Nation Builders

From the first Sikh settlers on Canada’s west coast more than a century ago to today’s leaders in politics, education, business, healthcare, the arts, and public service, Sikh-Canadians have helped write every chapter of this country’s story.

They have defended its borders, enriched its culture, strengthened its economy, and upheld the Sikh values of equality, justice, and selfless service.

Celebrating the Spirit of Punjab

Mannthology also celebrates the spirit of Punjab wherever it appears. Punjabis around the world bring warmth, resilience, and creativity to every field.

From Punjab’s fields to Canada’s cities, that spirit of hard work, courage, and compassion continues to inspire generations.

Stories That Bring Us Together

We embrace Canada’s diversity as a source of strength. The many voices and cultures here give Canada its capacity for understanding, compassion, and unity.

Through our stories, features, and community work, Mannthology builds awareness, fosters respect, and celebrates the connections between Sikh-Canadians, Punjabis worldwide, and the many other communities that make Canada the vibrant mosaic it is.

AT THE HEART OF
WHO WE ARE

Rooted in Sikh values and inspired by Canadian ideals, Mannthology is more than a magazine. We are a bridge between past and present, Punjab and Canada, identity and belonging.

Our aim is simple: to make sure the story of Sikh-Canadians and Punjabis everywhere is seen not only as a tale of migration but as an ongoing contribution to Canada’s progress, dignity, and diversity.
